this is so subjective and to what style of playing. For song composition for me it's Pete Towsend for speed blues Alivn Lee for inovation from another planet it's Jimi Hendrix for fluidity it's Dave Mason or one better would go to David Gilmore.Texas blues of course SRV w/ a minor nod to his protege'Kenny Wayne Sheppard and Jerry is certainly on the list but not near the top.I guess for me,the end all be all for longevity,popularity,singing and playing mostly w/ blues then all sorts of 3minute singles is Eric Clapton.I saw just about all the big names out there and for me the biggest disappointment was Jimmy Page and that hurky jurky style just was not for me.
